System Overview
The Motorola MTR3000 is a compact MOTOTOTRBO™ voice and database station/repeater designed to meet the requirements of small public safety, utility, and, professional organizations.
The MTR3000 operates in digital mode in MOTOTOTRBO Conventional, IP Site Connect, Caption Plus and, Connect Plus systems that offer greater capacity, spectral efficiency, integrated data applications and, enhanced voice communications.
In addition, the Motorola MTR3000 can also operate in analog mode for Conventional Trunking and LTR®/PassPort® Trunking systems providing a flexible high-power base station/repeater.
With its digital mode capabilities, it supports MOTOTOTRBO Conventional, IP Site Connect, Caption Plus, and Connect Plus systems, offering improved capacity, spectral efficiency, integrated data applications, and enhanced voice communications.
The MTR3000 programmed in MOTOTRBO mode provides:
- Two simultaneous audio tracks in 12.5 kHz digital TDMA
- 6.25e compatibility
- Splits an existing channel into two talk tracks, providing twice the capacity through a single repeater
- MOTOTOTRBO Connect Plus multi-site connectivity to extend coverage and increase the capacity of your system
- MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus technology for single-site connectivity to expand your system’s capacity
- MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect to extend your system’s coverage
- Transmission interrupt capability to help prioritize critical connections exactly when and where they are needed
- Dynamic mixed-mode capability that allows automatic switching between analog and digital modes
- Internet Protocol (IP) repeater programming allows the use of IP in a centralized location to complete programming changes and upgrades on remotely located repeaters
- Digital Phone Interface allows communication between radios and landline or cell phones
